2022 Spring BIPOC Nepantla Cohort:
Navigating Racism in Mathematics Education

The 2022 Nepantla Spring Cohort focuses on navigating racism in mathematics education and is designed for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) mathematics educators. This 6 week program supports teachers with a community centered lens by assessing power dynamics and making changes toward liberation. The cohort will be led by 2 facilitators, Jerica Jurado and Chanel Keyvan and meets online. Additional reading and videos are expected but not required. We hope you'll join us.
Dates: Tuesdays Mar 1, 8, 15, 29 and Apr 5
